I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University, where I worked at the Washburn University Psychological Services Clinic alongside licensed faculty. During my studies, I completed an internship in community mental health where I worked with clients from all walks of life with a variety of presenting concerns. I am passionate about getting to know who my clients are as individuals, meeting them where they are, and understanding their goals for the future. We will work together to learn, grow, and heal.
I provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults who wish to manage symptoms of mood disorders, improve responses to stressors, and learn how to make positive changes in their lives. My work with clients addresses a variety of challenges, including:
My approach to treatment uses empathy, collaboration, and humor to build a strong therapeutic alliance and provide a safe space to learn. In order to create treatment plans tailored specifically to my clients, I utilize techniques from a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I will soon be in network and able to accept Ambetter and all Kansas Medicaid plans, including:
For self-pay clients and clients who have other health insurance and would like to schedule on a self-pay basis, my self-pay rate varies depending on the particular service desired and your individual needs. Please contact us to discuss pricing and payment options.
