About Me
Starting therapy can be a somewhat intimidating first step in improving your mental health, which is why I strive to create a welcoming and open environment for my clients. I have been passionate about mental health and the study of psychology since early in my academic career, and I thoroughly enjoy providing support and healing for people of all walks of life.
Every individual has their own unique story and background, which is something that I value and respect with each of my clients. I believe in cultivating a healthy and strong therapeutic relationship built upon empathy and trust; it is an essential part of the healing process.
My main approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps us look at the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which encourages people to build a more flexible relationship with their thoughts and feelings while living in line with their values. I also use Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), for the treatment of OCD that helps people gradually face their fears and reduce the urge to engage in compulsions. In addition, I incorporate Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), another evidence-based treatment for OCD that focuses on challenging the faulty reasoning patterns behind intrusive doubts and fears.
I also help clients build executive functioning skills—things like planning, organizing, managing time, and following through on tasks. Strengthening these skills can make day-to-day life feel more manageable and less stressful, while supporting personal, academic, and professional goals.
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.

As I have developed and honed my clinical skills as a therapist, I have come to value an integrative and holistic approach to therapy. I believe this provides the best care for my clients, and enables us to maintain a collaborative relationship that is essential for healing and rapport.
My initial therapeutic approach draws upon a variety of techniques and interventions commonly used in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps us to understand and improve upon our core beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. I also utilize Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), which is commonly used in treating clients suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I am also available to conduct assessments, including comprehensive psychological evaluations and ADHD evaluations/testing and to provide documentation of ADHD diagnoses in appropriate cases.
